It has been three years since Liam graduated middle school and that means it was finally Isaac’s turn to be cheered on to pomp and circumstance. Select members of the Vespremi family made another pilgrimage to Salt Lake City to mark the occasion and as before, McGillis (the boys’ middle school) did the usual bird toasts for each member of their graduating class.
This graduation was bitter sweet for Isaac as he was planning a return back home to attend high school with us, but the court will revisit this possibility in his sophomore year in order to keep the boys together until Liam is off to college. Coming back to life on the coast is something Isaac has been asking for since the 6th grade and if he still wants it after his first year of high school in Salt Lake, hopefully it finally works out for him then. If not, we fully celebrate his continued high school journey at Rowland Hall.

Our visit to Salt Lake City was short and sweet this time as the boys left early the following morning for a trip to South America with their mom, but I still enjoyed a quick trip to the Contemporary Art Museum before flying back while Sarah and my mom continued on to Moab for some hiking.
Save this space for Miles’ dog camp graduation. 🙃

Congratulations to Isaac! I hope this year with his brother is really meaningful and that he is able to test his wings soon.
