Liam's Summer 2026

This summer has been really spectacular for me, from visiting Spain and Hungary to having my cousin, Emma, come over from Budapest and getting to know her better. I’ve learned more about becoming an adult and started looking ahead to my senior year of high school.

I think one of my favorite memories from the summer was simply sitting down with my family, playing a game of Uno, and me kicking all their asses. There was a lot of fun in that, even though there were a few tears.

One thing I struggled with this summer was getting used to being an adult, or almost an adult, I should say. Traveling by myself meant having more responsibility and figuring out what I should do next, what I should plan, and what the best option was. I struggled with that in the beginning and even made a few enemies on my Spain trip, but that’s also where I learned an important lesson about dealing with and living with the consequences of your choices.

Overall, it’s been a really great summer. There were a few hard spots, but I loved spending time with my family and going out and doing things together. Usually, the most meaningful things for me are the small moments, and we had tons of those this summer.

Overall, this summer has been amazing.
